Juanita Healing was from the Hopi village of Sichomovi at First Mesa. She married Dewey Healing, son of Annie Healing Nampeyo, oldest daughter of Nampeyo of Hano. She was a sister of Patricia Honie. This is one of the few pieces of pottery we have had by her over the years. It is an open bowl that is painted with a bear paw and rain cloud design. has slight blushes from the firing. It is signed on the back, “Juanita Healing”. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
