Glendora Fragua is known for her polished and intricately incised pottery. This jar is coil-built, thin-walled, and fully polished a dark brown and tan. The piece has a fluted rim. The jar has flowers around the neck and geometrics and stars near the base. The central band has Sun Dancers, geometrics, and star patterns. The inside of the neck has painted dragonflies. The jar is signed on the bottom with a corn stalk, Glendora’s hallmark.

Glendora Fragua is a daughter of Juanita Fragua and the sister of BJ Fragua and sculptor Cliff Fragua. She has won numerous awards for her pottery and has been featured in a variety of books on contemporary innovative potters. She signs her pottery with a Corn Stalk hallmark.
