4"w x 4"h

$ 500.00

Nona Naha was Tewa-Hopi of the Corn Clan who began making pottery in 1988. She was the daughter of Sylvan and Edith Nash and the wife of Terry Naha. She learned to make pottery from Helen Naha and her daughters, Sylvia and Rainy Naha.  This jar has a round body and an elongated neck.  The entire piece is fully polished.  There is a classic bat wing design painted on the shoulder of the jar. Note the thin lines used to paint the imagery.  The seedpot was traditionally fired.  It is signed on the bottom, “Nona Naha”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
