Carolyn Concho is well known for her beautifully painted pottery using Mimbres animals, reptiles, and insects. This seedpot has a Mimbres lizard on the top with a raised head. There is a painted lizard swimming. There is a geometric rainbow and additional pottery designs. All the different colors are from natural clay slips. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Carolyn Concho”.

There is a butterfly on the rabbit with one wing in relief. The edges of the seedpot have fine-line designs. All the different colors are from natural clay slips. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Carolyn Concho”.
