Garrett Maho is known for his traditional and innovative Hopi-Tewa pottery. This bowl is fully polished and painted with bee-weed (black). There is an eagle on the top of the piece. It was traditionally fired to create the blushes. It is signed on the back in the clay, “Garrett Maho”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.

Garrett Maho has been making pottery since 1996. He learned to make pottery from grandmother Marilyn Mahle and his aunt Gloria Mahle. He is a member of the Rabbit/ Tobacco Clan. Garrett has won numerous awards at Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Indian Market. Most recently he won "Best of Pottery" at the Heard Indian Market in 2018.
