Gregorita Naranjo Chavarria was married to Juan Chavarria and made pottery in the 1930s to the early 1990s. Her pottery is known for deeply carved designs. She was included in the book, “Santa Clara Pottery Today”, but Betty LeFree.  Her husband, Juan, was a governor of Santa Clara Pueblo.  She signed her pottery, “G. Chavarria.”
