Christine Atencio Kaye was the daughter of Cruz and Refugia Atencio. She was married to Edwin Kaye (Hopi) and the mother of Agnes Crispin, Phillip Atencio, and Lawrence Atencio.  She learned to make pottery from her mother and primarily made pieces in the 1960’s-70s.
