Flora Naranjo (1914-2000) was a daughter of Petra Tafoya Naranjo (1892-1934) and Delfide Naranjo. She learned to make pottery from her mother and began making her own pottery in the 1930’s. She was the mother of Frances Salazar, Barbara Martinez, Glenda Naranjo and Sammy Naranjo. She often worked with her daughter Glenda later in life and signed their pieces together. She created a variety of pottery styles from polychrome to plainware and carved pottery.
