Tomasita Tafoya Naranjo, Wedding Vase (ca 1910)Tomasita Tafoya Naranjo was the oldest sister of Margaret Tafoya. She was known for a very distinctive style of pottery with indented (gourd style) sides. She was influential in Margaret learning to make pottery. She passed away in the 1918 Influenza Epidemic. Her pottery can be found in museums such as the Heard Museum and Museum of Inidan Art and Culture.
