Charles Navasie is a great-grandson of noted potter Paqua Naha and a grandson of Joy “Frogwoman” Navasie. His mother, Loretta Navasie is also a well-known potter. He makes pottery in both the traditional Hopi tan ware and also the Navasie family white-ware. He signs his pottery with a frog and “Navasie” written on the inside.
