Marianne Navasie was a daughter of Joy “Frogwoman” Navasie and a granddaughter of Paqua Naha. She was a sister of Loretta Navasie, Grace Lomahquahu, Maynard Navasie (1945-99), Leona Navasie and Natelle Navasie. She was married to Harrison Jim and worked with him on his pottery. She was the mother of Pam Navasie, Donna Robertson, Gail Navasie and Harrison Jim, Jr. . She signed her pottery with a frog and tadpole hallmark.
