Teresita Romero

Teresita Chavez Romero (1894-1991) was the grandmother of noted potter Diego Romero and painter Mateo Romero. Throughout her career she was known for her large vessels and use of traditional iconography in her work. Her pottery can be found in museums such as the Albuquerque Museum and the Heard Museum.
