Jay “Janette” Vallo is a daughter of Edna Chino and a sister of potters Brian Chino, Corrine Chino and Judy Shields. She is known for her tightly painted “fine line” pottery. She began making pottery when she was 18 and has continued to create striking pottery with very finely painted designs.
