Kathleen Wall is a daughter of Fannie Loretto and a granddaughter of Cari Loretto. She learned to make pottery from her mother and made her first storyteller when she was eight years old.  In addition, she studied at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe.  She has also been awarded the New Mexico Governor’s Award for the Arts (2021) and has been a MIAC Living Treasure. She continues to be one of the young Pueblo innovators in clay.
