This is an early jar by Sadie Adams. The piece a high shoulder and turned in rim. It is painted with bee-weed (black). The jar has four panels of interlocking birds and clouds. It is creative use of a traditional designs. It was traditionally fired to create the blushes on the surface. The jar is signed on the bottom with her hallmark flower. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
