6.5"w x 3"h

$ 1,800.00

This is a classic bowl by Blue Corn.  She is certainly one of the most creative potters of her time, and she used a variety of clays and firing techniques to create her distinctive pottery.  This bowl has a low, round shoulder.  It is fully polished and painted with 69 feathers.  Check out the precision of the painting! The bowl was traditionally fired to a gunmetal silvery black.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Blue Corn”.   It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  There is a second place ribbon from the 1969 Gallup Ceremonials. .
