Lowell Cheresposy is a grandson of Dextra Quotskuyva and a son of noted potter Hisi Nampeyo. This is a piece is from the early 2000s and was purchased directly from the Lowell. It is made with red Hopi clay and painted with bee-weed. The inside of the bowl has a spiraling feather and rain design. The outside of the bowl has a mountain design with white moons. The bowl is signed, “Lowell Cheresposy”. It is very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
