Brian Chino was a son of noted potter Edna Chino and a brother of Jay Vallo and Corrine Chino. He began making pottery in 1988. This is one of his classic miniatures. The jar is fully painted with very thin lines to create an interlocking star pattern on the top and bottom. Around the center are plant designs. The neck has a TINY feather pattern. This piece is signed, “B. C.” on the bottom. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.

Brian Chino, “Kee-Yu-Wy-Sde-Wa”, was a son of noted potter Edna Chino and a brother of Jay Vallo and Corrine Chino. He began making pottery in 1988. he learned his pottery skills from his mother. She taught him all the fundamentals of making pottery. Brian is well known for his detailed fine line designs on miniature pottery.
