Carolyn Concho is well known for her beautifully painted pottery using Mimbres animals, reptiles, and insects.  This seedpot has a series of Pueblo dancers on one side.  They alternate between female and male dancers.  Above them are lighting, rain, cloud, and bird designs. The deigns are painted with thin lines and geometric shapes.   All the different colors are from natural clay slips.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “C. Concho”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
