Glendora Fragua is known for her intricately incised pottery. This oval bowl is from 1982. It is fully polished red. There is a large peacock etched into the clay. It is surrounded by feather and rain designs. The remainder of the bowl is fully polished red. The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair. It is signed on the bottom in the clay with Glendora’s corn hallmark.

Glendora Fragua is a daughter of Juanita Fragua and the sister of BJ Fragua and sculptor Cliff Fragua. She has won numerous awards for her pottery and has been featured in a variety of books on contemporary innovative potters. She signs her pottery with a Corn Stalk hallmark.
