Denny Gutierrez was known for his faceted melon bowls. However, he also created exceptional painted vessels. This jar has a sloping shoulder and a slight neck. It is fully polished and painted with very tightly painted feathers. There are 45 feathers encircling the jar in two sections. Note how they are painted at a slight angle. Separating them is a sections with stars designs and the opposite side has a crescent moon. The jar is polished to a glossy shine. It is from 1987. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Denny Gutierrez”.

It is fully polished and painted with very tightly painted feathers. There are 42 feathers encircling the jar in two sections. Note how they are painted at a slight angle. Separating them is a sections with rain designs and the opposite side has a double rainbow. The jar is polished to a glossy shine. It is from 1987. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Denny Gutierrez”.
