Kathy Gutierrez is a daughter of noted potter Helen Gutierrez and a sister of Geraldine Gutierrez, Carol, and Rose Gutierrez.  This bowl has a round shape and it is fully polished.  It is painted with 32 feathers encircling the piece.  Each feather is symmetric and reveals the glossy black polish.  The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Kathy N. Gutierrez”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
