Mary Lewis was a daughter of Lucy M. Lewis and a sister of Dolores, Emma, and Carmel Lewis. Her brothers Ivan and Drew also made pottery. While not as prolific as her sisters, her pieces were often inspired by Mimbres and Chacho pottery designs.
