This bowl is made by Dean & Rita Malie. Rita Malie (1946-2008) made the pottery and it was painted by her husband, Dean (b. 1953). This bowl is very tightly painted with very complex interlocking star patterns. The bowl is signed on the bottom in the clay, “D. & R. Malie”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
