This is a long neck jar by Grace Medicine Flower.  It is from 1989.  It is fully polished and etched around the body of the piece. There is a medallion with two rabbits surrounded by feathers.  As the piece is turned, the next rabbit has cloud and plant designs.  The next section has two rabbits next to each other. The final section has a single rabbit under a cloud design.  The rabbits are all realistic in design and surrounded by very intricate designs, especially the feathers!  All the sgraffito was done before the piece was fired. The piece is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Grace Medicine Flower”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks restoration or repair.
