Naranjo, Dusty – 9″ Wide Jar with Swirling Rain Birds (2003) Ribbon

This is a large jar by Dusty Naranjo.  The piece is coil-built and fully polished.  It was fired a brown coloration. The neck is matte. The remainder is fully polished and etched with swirling rainbirds.  The birds are above and below the shoulder  The background area is fully etched with designs.  It is a very complex piece for the size.  It is signed, “Dusty” on the bottom.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  There is a blue ribbon from the 2003 Eight Northern Indian Market.
