Naranjo, Forrest & Karen – Bowl with Lizards and Katsina Figures

Forrest Naranjo is a son of Bernie Naranjo, the brother of Dusty Naranjo, and father of Johnathan Naranjo.  This bowl was made by both Forrest and his wife Karen.  The bowl is coil-built, thin-walled, and highly polished. It was fired a dark brown coloration.  The top is fully etched with designs.  There are three lizards, three Katsina figures, along with a feather design.  They charmingly move across the top of the piece.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Forrest Karen Naranjo”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
