Jarren Naranjo (b. 1996) is a grandson of Flora Naranjo and a son of Sammy Naranjo. Each piece is made from native clay. This piece has a sculpted sitting bear with a baby bear on her back and shoudler. The piece has a strong flow of form and it is slipped with mica and fired brown coloration. The bear is signed, Jarren Naranjo.

Jarren Naranjo (b. 1996) is a grandson of Flora Naranjo and a son of Sammy Naranjo. Each piece is made from native clay, stone polished and traditionally fired black. Jarren said this is one of the large sitting bears. The bear is made from clay, and it is sitting on its back legs. His bears have a very sculptural appearance with angular faces. Note how the entire piece, even the bottom, is fully polished, and it is fired a glassy black. The bear has turquoise eyes and a turquoise necklace. The bear is signed, Jarren Naranjo.
