$ 1,800.00

Dolly Joe Navasie is best known by her name, White Swann.  She is the daughter of Eunice “Fawn” Navasie and a sister of Dawn and Fawn Navasie.  This large, wide-shoulder jar has an elonagated neck with a turned-out rim. The jar is fully polished and painted with bee-weed (black) and red clay.  There are four large eagle tails as the design on the shoulder.  They are separated by swirling birds and there are even small dragonflies!  The jar is very detailed in design.  The jar was traditionally fired to create the blushes.  It is signed on the bottom, “White Swann”.   It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  There is a Blue Ribbon and a Best of Division Ribbon from the 2003 EIteljorg Museum.
