Dolly Joe Navasie is best known by her name, White Swann. She is the daughter of Eunice “Fawn” Navasie and a sister of Dawn and Fawn Navasie. This large, wide-shoulder jar has a small neck. The jar is painted with bee-weed (black) and three colors of clay slips. The jar has a rainbow band around the top of the shoulder and four eagle tails extending to the shoulder. The jar was traditionally fired to create the blushes. It is signed on the bottom, “White Swan”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
