Christine Nieto (1965-2008) was a sister of Frances Naranjo Martinez (married to Marvin Martinez) and the daughter of Lorriane Naranjo.  This jar has a round shape and asymmetric rim.  It is fully polished and fired brown in coloration.  It is etched with a series of flowers across the entire surface of the piece.   Christine was known for her brown-fired pottery and delicately etched designs.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “C. Nieto”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
