The masks are multi-level in relief and inspired by wooden Cree masks. he remainder of the jar is slipped with a blue-green clay that is vertically polished. There are additional incised areas of design. The piece was pit fired to create the coloration on the surface. The jar is signed “Glen Nipshank”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. Glen brings a fascinating non-pueblo perspective to Native pottery.
