Adam Speckled Rock is the son of noted potters Paul Speckled Rock and Rosemary Lonewolf. He is a grandson of Joseph Lonewolf and a great-grandson of both Severa Tafoya and Camilio Tafoya. This large bowl is coil-bulit and fully polished. It is fully designed with etched imagery. There are five Mimbres frogs etched into the clay. There is even a tadpole! The opposite side has a large sun katsina. Separating them are stippled cloud designs. The inside of the bowl has an etched corn plant. There is also a small fully polished bowl by Adam’s daughter Mia. The bowl is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Adam Speckled Rock”. The small bowl is signed, “Mia SR”. Both are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.

Adam Speckled Rock is the son of noted potters Rosemary Lonewolf and Paul Speckled Rock. He is a grandson of Joseph Lonewolf and great-grandson of Camilio Tafoya. He is also a great-grandson of Severa Tafoya on his father's side. He made pottery primarily in the 1990s. Each piece is coil built, stone polished and the designs are etched into the clay surface.
