This is a classic long-neck jar by Ray Tafoya. The jar is fully polished and fired to a deep black coloration. There is a flute player on one side. The remainder of the jar has etched flowers. Along the neck are etched feathers. All the various colorations were added after the firing. The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. It is signed on the bottom in the clay with his hallmark (meaning White Mountain).
