This miniature seedpot by Ray Tafoya. It is fully polished and round in shape. It has a stylized Deer Dancer holding a flute. Ray added more detail to this piece, as noted in the hatchwork on the stockings on the figure. There is a bear paw to one side (with the hole for the seedpot in the center). The remainder has additional Santa Clara design. It is highlighted with additional yellow and blue clay slips. The seedpot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair. It is signed on the bottom with his hallmark that means “White Mountain” in Tewa.
