$ 350.00
This is a wide bowl by Vernida Polacca. She is a granddaughter of Fannie Nampeyo and a daughter of Harold Polacca. This bowl is painted with bee-weed and clay slips for additional color. The design is a classic eagle tail pattern that extends from the mouth to the shoulder. The bowl was traditionally fired which resulted in the color variations on the surface. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Vernida Polacca Nampeyo”.
