Theresa Wildflower was known for her miniature pottery. Each piece was made as a miniature version of a larger vessel, and she would incorporate the work of various tribes and Pueblos. This piece is made at “1/2 Scale”, where 1/2″=1′. The piece has a round shoulder and tiny neck. The jar is painted with three owls, each sitting on a branch with flowers and leaves. The neck is painted with rain and plant designs. Note the detail and precision of the painting! Beautiful! It is signed on the bottom with her hallmark. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.

Namingha, Jocelyn Quam - Jar with Eagle Feathers and Rising Sun

Theresa Wildflower was unique among potters as her specialty was miniatures. She would create miniature masterpieces which were to scale (1" = 1') and "half-scale" ( 1/2" = 1'). While she no longer makes pottery, her pieces are amazing for the variety of their styles and the intricacy of the painting.
