Everything is so delicately painted! In the background is the female Buffalo Dancer in shadow. The background has Santa Clara pueblo, and there is Jason’s signature raincloud in the sky. The coloration on this piece is striking with the clay showing through and the subtle sky. The motion and power of this piece are exceptional. His piece is signed with his Tewa name, Okuu Pin, which means Turtle Mountain.
