This is a larger size bowl by Effie Garcia. It is her classic shape with a narrow base and wide shoulder. The bowl is deeply carved with four sections of designs. They are flowers that extend up from below the shoulder. Note the depth of the carving and how she has outlined the design with the clay for emphasis. The surface is stone polished and the piece is traditionally fired. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Effie & Orville Garcia”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
