Madeline Naranjo has been an active potter since the mid-1930s. She is the mother of Frances Siow, Joseph Naranjo and Fidel Naranjo. She is the grandmother of Madeline E. Naranjo. She was known for her deep carved pottery and highly polished surfaces. She won awards throughout the 1980’s at Santa Fe Indian Market. Her pottery is in the permanent collection of the Heard Museum and the Museum of Indian Art and Culture. While she no longer makes pottery, her pieces remain a testament to her creativity.
