Dennis Daubs (b. 1960) is known for his intricately incised pottery.  He is both Jemez and San Ildefonso.   His mother is Gerry Gachupin, sister Patricia Daubs, and brother was Steve Daubs.  Each piece is coil-built, stone-polished, and the imagery is etched into the surface of the clay.  This bowl has a wide shoulder and an etched top.  There is a single Mimbres lizard on top. It is surrounded by feather and sand designs.  It is signed, “Dennis Daubs”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
