Glenn Gomez (b. 1954) is a traditional potter from Taos Pueblo. His mother was Cordi Gomez of Pojoaque Pueblo. When he married, he moved to Taos, which is his wife’s pueblo. This bowl is carved with a sharp edge. The bowl bowl is fired black. The lid is fired the natural color of the clay. The lid fits perfectly onto the bowl. It is signed on the bottom, “Glenn Gomez”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
