Namingha, Jocelyn Quam – Bowl with Mountain and Rain Designs
5"w x 3"h
$ 450.00
Jocelyn Quam Namingha is the wife of noted potter Les Namingha. This jar is coil-built, stone polished, and painted with bee-weed (black). The jar is thin-walled and has a sloping shoulder. The top has mountain, rain, and feather designs. They are painted on a white Zuni clay. It is very tightly painted and a design that seems both modern and traditional. It is signed on the bottom, “Jocelyn Quam Namingha”.
