4.5"w x 4"h
$ 775.00
Louis and Virginia Naranjo were the parents of noted potter Mary Trujillo. They were known for their storyteller figures and especially Louis’s bears. This is one of their classic storytellers. It is very tight in form and painted with wild spinach (black) and red clay. The figure has two bear cubs sitting on the leg and shoulder. It is signed on the bottom, “Virginia Naranjo”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. Definitely a classic of their storyteller style.
