Ramos, Christina – “Wile E. Coyote – Saint of Eternal Frustration” (Acrylic, Gold Leaf on Board)

Christina Ramos is a nationally recognized artist specializing in figurative realism.  This painting is part of her series where she re-imagines animals into saints, with folding wooden panels.  They are painted with acrylic and gold leaf.  This piece is entitled, “Wile E. Coyote – Saint of Eternal Frustration“. The center panel has a realistic coyote and there are realistic roadrunners on either side.  When closed, there is a howling coyote on the front.

Christina was recently named an “Artist to Watch by Southwest Art Magazine, and as one of America’s Great Painters by American Galleries.  Her work has been shown throughout the United States and has been honored with awards from the Portrait Society of America, the Society of Acrylic and Casein Painters, the National Acrylic and Oil Painters Society, the International Society of Acrylic Painters, Southwest Art Magazine, and many more.
