WOW!  This is a striking jar by Adrianne Roy-Keene.  She is known for her intricately painted and carved miniatures. This jar has a round body and an elongated neck. The body of the jar is paitned with a classic lightning design.  It is this design that was made famous by Lucy Lewis.  The painting on the piece is exceptional!  However, it is the top of the jar, which is Adrienne’s hallmark design.  The top is carved with a series of triangular corrugated patterns, which get smaller as they approach the opening. There are TWELVE rows of carving to create this dynamic design.  It is amazing how detailed it is for the size!  The piece is signed on the bottom with her name inside a feather hallmark.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
