Marie Sandoval (b. 1937), is a daughter of Bridgette Esquibel. She is one of the few potters from San Felipe Pueblo. This jar is coil-built and made from native clay. The jar has a round body and a handle. There are Pueblo-style fish on each side. The fish are painted with various colors of clay slips. The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “M. Sandoval, San Felipe Pueblo”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
