Jody always has a whimsical style about her pottery.  This large jar is from 1996 and it is fully incised and has turtles as the design. There are three bands of polished turtles encircling the piece.  It is amazing the motion and movement she has created.  The separating matte bands are incised like a turtle shell with additional star designs.  Note as well the complexity of the design surrounding the turtles where Jody has etched away the clay!  So much attention to the little details.  The entire jar is simply fully designed!  Amazing!  It is in perfect condition.
