Marietta Juanico (b. 1964) is a daughter of Frances Concho and a sister of Norbert Patricio. She learned to make pottery from her mother. She is known for her traditional style of pottery. This jar is one of her famous designs. Around the neck are tiny rain clouds. The jar has a flowing rainbowl with fineline sunrise and sunset designs. It is complicated and visually striking! The piece is signed “M. P. Juanico”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
