This is one of the more complex designed seedpots we have had by Grace Medicine Flower.  It is from 1976.  It has a horse, rider, and eagle as the design.  Grace did a great job of realistically portraying them in clay by fully polishing the seedpot and then etching away the designs.  Check out all the little circles in the matte area!  Grace did this on early pieces and then stopped as it was so time-consuming.  The is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Grace Medicine Flower”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks restoration, or repair.
